In the limited space available it is hard to sum up in a few paragraphs everything the coming year will bring, but it is possible to sum up what kind of year to expect. What you can expect is a busy and exciting professional year, with opportunities exploding across the income, work and career fronts in the early weeks of the year.
Lucky Jupiter’s return to your work sector in November and position here until 3rd December was always going to make this a busy, expansive and auspicious year for work and job matters. However, Mars’ return to your career sector on New Year’s Day and a total lunar eclipse in your income sector on 21st January, takes this to a whole new level. It is as though the professional and money gods have come together and rolled out their big guns from the get go.
While Mars is only in your career sector until 14th February and Uranus will leave there on 6th March, there is more than enough planetary activity on the income and career fronts throughout the year to keep Jupiter company as he moves through your work sector.
However, the first four and the final two months of the year are likely to be the busiest, while the middle months of the year are likely to be the most lucrative. Apart from the lunar eclipse on 21st January, which could trigger unexpected income developments. Yet while you have a busy year, the year won’t be so busy that it pushes everything else to the sidelines. In particular, there is an equally strong focus on your relationships this year.
With Saturn and Pluto spending another full year together in your relationship sector this was always going to be the case, but even more so with Jupiter returning on 3rd December. This is when the major relationship developments that will dominate 2020, will start coming together.
2019 is also an important year for you personally, with the North Node spending the whole year in Cancer. This is the reason for a total solar eclipse in Cancer on 3rd July. While falling during your birthday month, it falls a day after Mars wraps up a six week visit to Cancer and a day before Venus returns. While this is an important relationship year, this can’t be at the expense of your own needs and your personal truth. Having the North Node in Cancer suggests some major new beginnings for you this year.
Starting the year with Venus, the planet of love in your romantic sector is a special treat from the love gods and while she will leave on 8th January, she will leave behind a rich romantic legacy. For it was only in November that lucky Jupiter left your romantic sector, with Venus wrapping up the second of two visits in the closing months of last year.
Venus is making sure that the year starts on a romantic note. It helps that the year begins with the Moon here as well, with romantically charged lunar vibes in play from the get go. Ceres will stay on to maintain a romantic presence through to 26th January, but after that, the love gods will only make sporadic appearances throughout the year.
The next appearance will be during a Full Moon in your romantic sector on 19th May, followed by Venus’ return to Cancer from 4th July to 28th July.
As is normally the case, the most romantically charged months of any year kick off in October, with a romantically charged period extending from 3rd October 2019 to 3rd January 2020. During that time the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars will all make an impact, with Mars responsible for keeping the romantic flame burning during the final six weeks of 2019 and into the early days of 2020. While 2019 is a year with pockets of romantic activity, on the relationship front things couldn’t be more different.
While Pluto has been in your relationship sector since 2008, on a mission to bring the change and evolution needed to create something authentic, one that won’t end until 2024. It was last December that Pluto was joined by Saturn, beginning a three year relationship boot camp, but also the most empowering relationship years in three decades.
As is always the case, you will begin the year with the Sun in your relationship sector, shining the solar spotlight on your relationships from the get go. However, it is not just the Sun, Saturn and Pluto here but the South Node as well, making its first visit to your relationship sector in 17 years.
With the South Node here this can mean only one thing. Eclipses, those portals that bring the element of fate into play. You will get your first experience of this with a solar eclipse on 6th January, creating the potential for major new beginnings.
With Mercury, the planet of communication returning on 5th January, he will be on hand to ensure the communication lines are open. The journey will continue all year, with a lunar eclipse on 17th January another important milestone. Venus, the planet of love will visit your relationship sector twice this year, creating some especially magical periods.
The first is from 4th February to 2nd March and the second is from 26th November to 20th December. A lot is set to develop between those two visits. It is during the second visit that Jupiter will return, beginning your most important relationship year in over a decade on 3rd December.
While lucky Jupiter returned to your work sector in early November and the final two months of 2018 may have been busy, everything changes in the early days of the New Year. It may even feel like the professional gods have flipped a switch, setting everything in motion in the early hours of the year.
Just starting the year with lucky Jupiter in your work sector is an advantage and as he is here until 3rd December, this is your most auspicious year for job growth and opportunities in over a decade. In fact, it is on the job front that you will find most of this year’s big opportunities. You begin the year with Mercury here as well and while he will leave on 5th January, this allows you to start the year with your head in the game.
At this stage, with Uranus in retrograde motion in your career sector and Venus and Mars having gone into holiday mode towards the end of last year, you may even doubt that this really is the busy year this is destined to be. Yet from day one everything starts to change, making it important to use Mercury’s influence to work smarter from the get go.
It begins with Mars’ return to your career sector on New Year’s Day, with your professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit kicking in during the very early hours of the year. Uranus’ direct turn on 7th January will release the handbrake, just a day before Venus joins Jupiter in your work sector.
When you throw in a total lunar eclipse in your income sector on 21st January, you have an explosion of opportunities opening up in the early weeks of 2019. Venus will leave your work sector on 4th February, Mars will leave your career sector on 14th February and Uranus on 6th March, bringing that initial rush to an end.
With Jupiter in your work sector until 3rd December he can take it from here, keeping the wheels turning on the job front all year. While things will go quiet on the career front, you will need those few weeks until the Sun returns to your career sector on 21st March to catch your breath. This will kick off another busy two months on the career front, from 21st March to 15th May.
However, nothing like the manic pace the first six weeks of this year will set. Meanwhile, while Jupiter will keep the wheels turning on the job front all year Venus will return to your work sector on 2nd November and the Sun on 23rd November to both make his final weeks count and take over when he moves on. Jupiter will leave on 3rd December, but there will be support to tie up loose ends, right through to the final hours of 2019.
You begin the year with no money gods to be seen and no planetary activity on either the income and or financial fronts. This is a relief, with the break you got in the final month of 2018 continuing into the early weeks of 2019.
You need this break, for the lunar nodes only left your two money houses in November, ending the 18 month policing of a need for balance between money coming in and money going out. As Mars only left your financial sector days later, 2018 was an intense year for money matters and especially the second half. You need that firebreak, especially as you are not only about to begin your 2019 annual financial update, but the money gods have a surprise in store.
The Sun’s return to your financial sector on 20th January is something that happens at this time every year, turning the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters.
Yet with so much financial housekeeping last year, including the nearly six months Mars spent here, this is a more a quick update. However, this will be over by the time Venus moves through, from 2nd March to 27th March. Free from having to take part in any financial housekeeping and as the planet of money, this will be a good time for money matters.
After that, apart from Venus’ return visit from 20th December to 14th January 2020, the money gods aren’t putting too much focus on money matters this year. The surprise from the money gods will come delivered in a giant red bow just three weeks into the year, in the form of a total lunar eclipse in your income sector on 21st January.
With the North Node having just wrapped up an 18 month visit in November, this was always destined to be a catalyst for all the untapped income potential that has been building, creating the potential for unexpected and fairly significant income developments. What makes the timing so auspicious is that lucky Jupiter is spending the majority of the year in your work sector but you will have Venus, the planet of money there at the time.
Not only that, with Mars returning to your career sector on New Year’s Day, this lunar eclipse falls right in the heart of a major professional surge. After that things may go quiet on the income front, but unlike money matters, they will pick up again when a parade of planets move through your income sector, from 21st June to 23rd August.
