In terms of where your luck lies in any given year, we look to lucky Jupiter, but he is more than just the planet of luck. Jupiter is the largest and most powerful planet in the solar system and for the majority of this year, his focus is on your financial situation and money matters. However, this doesn’t mean everything will be handed to you on a silver spoon, with Jupiter working through the principle of expansion.
Whatever you invest, into taking your financial power back, will come back to you many times over. More of nothing is still nothing, so this needs to be a partnership. You will have some special support from Venus, the planet of money from 8th January to 4th February. Venus is able to attract positive financial outcomes, but her main mission is to boost your financial confidence.
Yet this year is not just about the money, with your own personal growth as well as adventure, travel, learning and discovery not only important, but something you need to take responsibility for. The year always begins with the Sun in an adventurous part of your chart, but with Saturn and Pluto here all year and lucky Jupiter returning on 3rd December, this is an area of your life that will grow stronger over the coming year and even more so in 2020.
A solar eclipse here on 6th January and a lunar eclipse on 17th July is a sign that the gods are taking this seriously. This year will also see Uranus return to Taurus on 6th March, where unlike his departure six months after arriving last year, he will stay until 2026.
When it comes to a journey towards finding your personal truth, you have had a chance to dip your toe in the water. However, not only did Uranus turn retrograde three months after arriving and then spend the following three months retrograding back out, he had to compete with last year’s heavy focus on your relationships.
This is not the case this year. For you, that quest to find your personal truth is the most dominant theme of 2019. This will be supported by Mars’ return to Taurus on 15th February, with the warrior planet of the cosmos already fuelling your passions and fighting spirit when Uranus returns. In the meantime, while there is less focus on your relationships this year, there is more than enough support to continue the journey that began last year. This includes a lot of support from the communication gods.
What you have on both the romantic and relationship fronts this year, is a return to a more normal pattern. With Jupiter in your romantic sector from August 2015 to September 2016 and then in your relationship sector from October 2017 to November 2018, there has been a major focus on both romantic and relationship matters over the last three years.
This year you only have the faster planets visiting both your romantic and relationship sectors and this allows you to carve out times of the year to devote to matters of the heart and then to your relationships. While Jupiter left your relationship sector in November, his influence isn’t quite over, with Venus still here as you move into the New Year.
Held back by her retrograde phase and having returned in early December for a double dip visit, Venus was late leaving, something you will benefit from in the early days of this year. Venus will leave on 8th January, but not before giving your relationships a head start and a voice from the get go.
After that things will go quiet on both the romantic and relationship fronts, as is the norm in the first half of any year. The next event of any significance is a Full Moon in your romantic sector on 20th February. This is a Lovers Moon and halfway between the Sun’s last visit and the next, this romantically charged Full Moon can give romantic matters a much needed push.
It is just under two months later that Venus will reach Taurus, with the planet of love moving through from 15th May to 9th June. Returning just days before your birthday month and new solar year begins, Venus returns with a chance to update your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the coming year.
The most romantically charged months of the year will run from 18th August to 4th November. With Venus in your romantic sector from 21st August to 15th September and Mars from 18th August to 4th October, this will bring the planets of love and passion together with sizzling results. Your relationships will get their turn again from 3rd October through to 3rd January 2020.
Venus, who begins the year in your relationship sector will return for a second visit from 9th October to 2nd November. Venus is in the heart of a parade of planets that make the final months of 2019 some of the best for relationship building.
You have been through some busy and potentially exhausting professional years, first on the job front and last year on the career front. This has planted a lot of seeds, created a lot of momentum and set things in motion that will continue to play out this year.
However, for the first time in several years, you may begin this new professional year wanting nothing more than some time off. That isn’t surprising, because the professional gods have taken themselves off on holiday as well.
The last planetary activity on the job front in 2018 only ran its course in early December, which is late in the year and on the career front just weeks earlier. You begin the year with no planetary activity in either of your two professional houses, with a chance to get your bearings before things take off again.
This rather civil start to the year is reflected in what is happening on both the job and career fronts this year. On both fronts there is enough happening to give you more than enough scope to accomplish what you want, but not so much that your professional game dominates your life.
You have been there and done that. Job and career matters are also having turns, creating some exciting pockets throughout the year. You won’t need to put your professional hat on for the first time this year until the Sun returns to your career sector on 20th January. With Mercury returning four days later but both gone by 20th February, this is a short opportunity to explore your options and to get this professional year off to an authentic start.
It is Venus’ return from 2nd March to 27th March that will create some exciting weeks on the career front, especially with Mars kicking off the most lucrative months of 2019 on 31st March. It is while Venus is here that you will have the first of two Full Moons in your work sector, on 21st March.
A second Full Moon on 19th April will capture all that has been building on the income, work and career fronts by this point. After that there is a chance to pull back and let things play out, with the most active months of the year on the job front, not kicking off until 14th September. Yet once things start to move on the job front opportunities will continue to open up through to 19th November. It is the final six weeks of that period, from 4th October to 19th November, that are likely to be the busiest.
The first question we ask when moving into any new financial year is, will this be a good or a challenging year for money matters? However, as Saturn’s three year financial boot camp only ran its course in December 2017, there is a chance you might be afraid to even ask the question. Fortunately, this is one year when the money gods are smiling on you, with lucky Jupiter in your financial sector until 3rd December.
While there will be periods within the year that are more active, with Jupiter here for the majority of the year, the whole of 2019 is a journey towards financial growth. It is the three year financial boot camp Saturn put you through, from December 2014 to December 2017, that proves to be a valuable training period.
The push to get this new financial year off the ground is mostly over by the time the year begins, though held back by a retrograde phase last year Venus is late to arrive. Not being part of the annual financial housekeeping that takes place in the final months of any year, Venus’ return to your financial sector from 8th January to 4th February is a standalone period.
As the planets of money and luck come together, they create an auspicious few weeks for money matters and an auspicious start to this powerful financial year. Throughout the year the journey will continue and you are likely to find that as it does, your definition of financial success transforms and evolves. There will be another push at the end of the year, to bring this financial year home. This will begin with Venus’ return on 2nd November and will continue through to the closing days of the year.
Meanwhile, while money matters as a whole are active all year, the fact that income matters are only active for a few months creates an intense and potentially lucrative pocket that you’re able to pour all your resources into. With Jupiter in retrograde motion from 11th April to 12th August, this is when money matters will take a backseat, allowing income matters to have their turn.
That lucrative period begins with Mars’ return to your income sector on 31st March and will continue through to Venus’ departure on 4th July. It is the first six and the final four weeks of this period that are set to be the most potentially lucrative. With Jupiter on the other side of the sky in your financial sector, any planet moving through your income sector will move into opposition. However, any financial tension can be used as motivation, increasing the potential to make the period from 31st March to 4th July the most lucrative of the year.
